Last night (entirely too late) I was ogling fabric on Etsy. In particular, I’m just in love with the Moda Neptune line. No idea what I’m going to do with it, and I know I’m not alone in my adoration, but I really really want some more than just the little charm pack I have. I’m eyeing the fat quarter bundle. YUM. But not pocket change, obviously. I’m hemming and hawing. I show it to my beloved M, who has patiently listened to my explanations of the difference between a charm pack, layer cake, etc. His response:
Oh, just buy it. At least then you’ll have it in your stash and you can just kind of stare at it and caress it.
Nice to have someone who “gets” you, even if it’s not exactly their thing…
