I know that I tend to get more done if I have stuff set up in the dining room. Something about out of sight, out of mind, I guess. We never really ate there, and in the past it was the boys' craft room - so the mess of my sewing room is nice in comparison. I love the natural light that fills it and I can create while the boys are playing nearby - huge plus.
