First up: trimming 100 itty-bitty half-square triangles:
And being grateful that I know how to chain-piece. Man, there are a lot of these!
Also on deck, cutting a whole bunch of rectangles from Hope Valley to get started on a new lap quilt.

Those are pretty little piles! I just returned from a trip to the beach with the kids. So I am spending the rest of the evening cleaning up sand

I said I was going to sew this weekend, work on or even finish some bags I’ve been working on, but I cooked instead.

Well, I finally got my new machine and made a quilt top for practice. Turned out well though (I posted pics on my blog) so I may try to find a different practice piece.
Am lovin’ the janome 6600!
